We are members of the North American Menopause Society and the ACOG (American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology). Our staff attends medical continuing education conferences locally and nationally as part of their ongoing Women's Health Nurse Practitioner license and certification requirements. Susan Halloran is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner who has devoted 30+ years to gynecological and obstetrical medicine in Minnesota, first as a Registered Nurse and then as a Certified Nurse Practitioner.
She began her career as a hospital-based RN in gynecology and urology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. She then spent nearly a decade as an RN supervisor for OB/GYN, urology, surgery, and family medicine at Olmsted Medical Center.
She returned to the Mayo Clinic as a Nurse Practitioner, where she provided gynecological care for women from adolescence through menopause. She was also a Mayo Medical school preceptor and speaker for women’s health topics.
She continued OB/GYN care in private practice, specializing in colposcopy, before joining the University of Minnesota Physicians where she cared for gynecologic cancer patients.
She is a NAMS-(North American Menopause Society) Certified Menopause Practitioner (NCMP). She has been a member in ACOG - American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology; NPWH - Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health and ASCCP - American Society for Colposcopy, and Cervical Pathology
Rebecca Mendoza, APRN, CNP,WHNP, NCMP
Rebecca Mendoza is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner and a NAMS Certified Menopause Practitioner. She has more than 35 years of experience providing OB/GYN care to women, with a focus on perimenopause/menopause, and a special interest in the hormonal issues of breast cancer survivors.
She started her career as a Nurse Practitioner in Seattle, Washington. She moved back to Minnesota in 1995 where she started practicing at Parkview OB/GYN (Allina) in Maplewood and St. Paul.
She joined Sandy Greenquist in the Menopause Center of United Hospital in 2006. Together with Sandy they opened the Menopause Center of Minnesota in 2008, where Rebecca continues to practice today.
Becky has been a Certified Menopause Practitioner since 2002. Since that time she has given seminars, taught classes, and has been on both the radio and television in the Twin Cities discussing perimenopause and menopause. She is a member of the North American Menopause Society (NAMS) and the Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health.
